Central to our mission is guiding middle school students to be powers for good — that means helping them participate in decisions affecting their lives and develop an appreciation of their responsibilities to the larger world.

What sets us apart is our student-centered approach, the Harkness method, which prioritizes active listening, thoughtful analysis and creative problem-solving. Hands-on learning and collaborative work are key to our educational model.

Throughout your high school career, you’ll shape your education with challenging courses that spark your interests. Whatever fascinates you—whether it’s world religions, writing short stories or environmental science, you’ll dig as deep as you like with nearly 150 courses to choose from.

The right trajectory designed with your interests in mind will help you continue to open doors beyond Masters. Boarding students at Masters hail from 10 U.S. states and 26 countries. With nearly 60 international students on campus at any given time, you will find yourself among a dynamic convergence of cultures that will make you more open-minded and globally aware.
